This makes for 12 King’s Moulds, which as a number for mythical things would feel more correct (zodiac, etc). The Collector seems to me to be a King’s Mould who has lost it’s armour.

I believe the Pale King reincarnated as the Grub Father in order to create a new race of creatures to repopulate Hallow Nest. Thirdly, where did the Grub Father get so damn rich? Also, the Grubberfly’s Elegy imbues you with “white hot” power, like the burning light of the Pale King. The Grub Song turns damage into soul, like a weaker King’s Soul, having to pay a price for soul generation. It seems to me the grubs are at the very least resistant to the infection. The dot underneath symbolizing that they are all one. On the picture there is a three dotted crown looking thing, the first dot represents the original wyrm phase, the second his Pale King phase, being higher, the jewel in the crown as it were, and the third his Grub Father form. The Vitruvian Grub seems to be referring to the Grub Father, as there are 46 circles for the 46 you collect, then the central one is Grub Daddy. What if the Pale King reincarnated as the Grub Father?
